Feature 1

My Natura Morta being wheeled into the deYoung for The deYoung Open Exhibition. Such an exciting day! Over 11,000 artists from the Bay Area submitted to the exhibit, and about 800 of us were selected. What an honor! And kudos to the deYoung for their generosity to local artists for hosting this event.

Feature 2

In June 2026 I had a solo show in The Loft at the O’Hanlon Center for the Arts. It featured over 30 transfer paintings, that is paintings which included transfers from various sources such as photographs, online images, and other artists’ works. The image above, for example, includes a transfer of a Diebenkorn drawing. See my Gallery “Art Thief” for more.

Feature 3

One of my favorite things to do with paint is to paint floorcloths for my home. These are acrylic paint on canvas, with 4-6 coats of varnish. These wonderful rugs are personal, tough, and fun to make.
